About the role

As a maintenance engineer at Stockholm Exergi, you will primarily work with preventive maintenance through our workshops but especially through all our suppliers.
You are the hub in planning our preventive work on the mechanical side regarding preventive, condition-based, and improvement maintenance.
As a maintenance engineer, you are responsible for carrying out work from start to finish, i.e., prioritizing maintenance so that it fits within the budget in both the short and long term, assisting with the procurement of maintenance services, planning revision work, quality reviewing, updating the maintenance system, etc.
You have a budget responsibility to adhere to with a clearly defined area.

The role of maintenance engineer requires you to be strategic, show progress, and find ways forward together with other maintenance engineers, operations, mechanics, the purchasing department, the work environment group, etc.

Mandatory requirements

We would like you to have:

• 2-5 years of experience in the field, having participated in or carried out several similar assignments within energy facilities or process industry.
• Experience with budget responsibility.
• Experience in procurement.
• Education in the relevant area, with a certain level of difficulty.

Desirable requirements:

• Experience working with work environment issues in heavy industry.
• Experience with Stockholm Exergi/industry.

• You are strategic and structured
• Shows progress and finds ways forward together with other maintenance engineers

Assignment period: 23/3 - 30/10 2026

Scope: Full-time

Location: Stockholm, Hässelbyverket

In order for a consultant to gain access to Exergi's offices/facilities and for an access card to be issued, one must complete the online courses SSG Entre Basic Course + SSG Entre Stockholm Exergi (via SSG Solutions). This is a requirement for anyone who will have an access card.
